KJPR is a privately owned Davis Vantage Pro weather station located on the northwest side of (4.5 miles Northwest)Norman, Oklahoma (3515.38N/09729.83W). The weather platform that measures temperature, humidity and rainfall are located in a clearing behind the house four feet above a grassy lawn. The anemometer is located approximately 30-35 feet above the ground, on a mast 4 feet above the roofline.

Weather information is downloaded approximately every 15 minutes, or more often during interesting weather. Information is then FTP'd to the Forecast Systems Laboratory in Boulder, CO and to a KJPR Weather Site.
